You are so Cool card

Today, I am showing you the first of a set of three cards. The cards has been created with some of the brand new stamp and die sets shown at Creativation this year.

I have used stamps from the Ice Cream Party stamp set and this stamp, is a super sweet melted and fallen ice cone.

Tutorial

I  stamped with the Raven ink and Sweet treats stamp set onto paper from the
and Kraft paper.

Then I coloured shadows onto the paper, and cut out all the pieces. The pieces were glued together - paper piecing.

For the background of the card, I used a diecut created with Scalloped Rectangle Die Set and coloured it with the Dan-D-Lion ink from the Jewelry Beads Hybrid Ink Mini Pack and the Playful Patterns 6x6 stencil.

I cut rectangle, 4mm larger than the diecut, and distressed the edges with yellow ink. I added all the pieces together and mounted them on 3D foam tape, to create dimension.

The back of the card was also decorated with an oval created from the  Scalloped Rectangle Die Set and an ice cone.

Cards with Kaisercraft's Time Machine collection

It's about 4 years ago since I applied for Kaisercraft DT first time, and joined the team for two years. One of the collections I got to work with for my final DT application was the Time Machine Collection. I have loved this collection from the first time i used it. After this I have used a huge amount of papers from this collection in different projects and classes. I have had very little left of the collection, but now, I decided to use what I had left over, added some old masculine papers from Prima, and created four simple masculine cards.

I used white card stock as a base for all the cards. The cards are 13,5 x 10,5 cm large. I have used  motives from papers in the collection for the cards.

The four cards:

Happy crafting :)

A Valentine's card

It's almost Valentines day, so I'm showing you a Valentine's card in LDRS's creative blog togday.

For this card, I used stamps from the Cloud nr. 9 stamp set. The papers are from the sweet paper pad Sincerely Yours.

I started with stamping the hearts from the Cloud nr. 9 stamp set with the Raven Hybrid ink. I then coloured the hearts, and fussy cut them.

Then I created the background for the card. I stamped with the cloud and Cloud nr 9 text from the Cloud nr. 9 stamp set. I inked with blue ink over the clouds. Then I added a few stripes from one of the papers from the Sincerely Yours paper pad.

I also added a stripe of patterned paper from the Sincerely Yours paper pad, at the left side of the card.

At the back of the card, I added a circle created with one of the circular dies from the Fancy circle die set with one of the heart stamps.

Happy Valentines day tomorrow

Project life page from Stonehenge

Project life can be an easy way to create an album page. Here, I have used diecuts with left overs from Kaisercraft's Wandering Ivy collection.

The tilte has been cut with a Silhouette. To the left, I have added a die cut, with space for  personal text. The shape has been cut with a die from the set Regal Frame Die from LDRS. The little border above the photo, has been created with a die from the Basic Cutting Edge Borders I from LDRS.

The tags has been cut with dies from the set Fancy Rectangles & Layers Die Set, also from LDRS creative.

A pink shaker box with template

This is the second shaker box, created from the same template. The shaker is half of an acrylic 6 cm in diameter, ornament from Rayher. You can find a template for the shaker box at the end of the blogpost. T

The box has got panels created with Prima's Misty Rose collection, while the paper inside the dome and the butterfly has been created with papers from Prima's Moon Child collection. Inside the dome, I have added sequins. You can find a large selection of sequins in Hobbykunst's shop.

The box has been created from the template below. The lid is 0,4cm larger than the box. The panels are 0,5 cm less than the sides of the box.

The flowers has been created using stamps, dies and the embossing folder for the Heartfelt rose.

Template for the box

The lid has two parts. First glue the top part. Add the dome from the under side of the lid. Add pearls or other shaker pieces- Add the motive to the top of the "support for the dome". Glue the support inside the lid. Now you can mount the rest of the box and decorate it.

Another box with the same template:

You can find the other shaker box, created with the same template in this blog post

A valentines card

We are getting closer to mothers day and valentine. So, I have made valentine's card with an old Prima collection: Port Of St. Tropez - St. Tropez and stamps from  Huldra designstudio.

The card has been made with papers from Prima's Port Of St. Tropez - St. Tropez. I just love this paper with the wooden pattern. Around all the panels, I have distressed with Tim Holtz: Vintage Photo -Distress Oxides Ink Pad.

The shape of the card has been cut with a Silhouette.

The circles has been cut with dies from LDRS - Fancy Circles Dies.  Around the foxes, I have cut a circular pattern paper with Fiskars scalloped scissors

The flowers and leaves has been created with dies and stamps from Heartfelt creations.

The text stamp "The best place in the world is inside a hug" is from Huldra designstudio's stamp sett "venner 1"

The fox motive is from an old paper from Alexandra Renke.

Inside the card, I have added a circular writing space, decorated with some flowers from Heartfelt creations.

The back of the card has been decorated with at text stamp from Huldra designstudio's stamp set "venner 1".

I hope to see a lot of fantastic valentine cards from all of you the nex couple of weeks. Remember that valentine cards are nice to get and give.
