LDRS inspiration week - day three

The wedding table

The new Autumn Breeze Peek-a-Boo Die Set was such a huge inspiration to me. I was thinking about doing something different with this die, and I wanted to create something sweet and romantic, instead of an autumn project.

The table card has been created with the new Scalloped Rectangle Die Set. The small leaves had been created with dies from the Autumn Breeze Peek-a-Boo Die Set. The banner with the name is a die from the Fancy Rectangles & Layers die set.

The meny has been created with a diecut with Autumn Breeze Peek-a-Boo Die Set at the base. Then, I added a diecut created with the Scalloped Rectangle Die Set at the top. Menu and text has been created, using a pc and a printer. 

The treat bag has been created using the Autumn Breeze Peek-a-Boo Die Set. I used white diecut on a white box, with a beige coloured back drop at the front.

At the back of the box, I used one of the dies from the Waves & Clouds Die Set, to create the edge at top of the box.

Tutorial for the box:

Cut the card stock according to the measurements below.

Fold along the scored lines. Glue the front (bottom photo) to the box. Fold the bottom flips and glue them together. Creating this many layers at the bottom, will make the box more stable. 

Use a die to create a shaped edge to the top of the box.

Happy fall, a gate fold card

This time, I have played along with the super sweet Autumn Breeze Peek-a-Boo Die Set, and created a gate fold card. 

The card has acetate between two layers of black cardstock, to get more stability in the card. I also used the a stamp from the Happy Fall Stamps set at the front and at the back of the card.

The white hearts are die cuts created with dies from the Scalloped Rectangle Die Set.

Inside, I used the one of the white boarders from the Scalloped Rectangle Die Set. This is white on white, and does not show up to well in the photo.

A 3D witch boot.

I played along with the new Wicked Boot dies set, and created a 3d boot. 

The paper used for the shoe is from the new WICKED 6x6 Paper Pack.

I used a strip of paper between the two sets of boot diecuts to create the 3d boot.

The boot was created in black cardstock, and patterned paper was added on the outside. 

I also used glitter cardstock for effect on the boot.

At the bottom of the sea

Some time ago, I got a small suitcase to work with for Hobbykunst. There are two suitcases in the set, and I used the largest one for this project. My task was to create something in 3D inside the suitcase, and I also wanted to do something in Mixed media.

The result was a suitcase from "the bottom of the sea".

Inside the suitcase, I added a small octopus. 

Paper suitcase used for the project. 

The octopus has been created with air drying clay. Inside the head, I used a small acrylic ornament. Glass eyes can be bought from Hobbykunst. The octopus was painted in blue, lilac, green and yellow. 

The hair on the octopus had been created with thin thread. The motive in the lid of the suitcase and the turtes arefrom Graphic 45's collection - Sun Kissed.

The suitcase has been decorated with lace, wooden figures, beads, buttons and jewelery, before it has been painted brown. 

Then the suitcase has been dry painted for effect with rust paint and mose paint. 

Then I added shells. Some of them I have found on the beach, and some was from the set Maritim decor. I also added a small bottle with a piece of paper as a bottle post.

Sweet Kitty

Today, I amshowing you a card featuring the new Scalloped Rectangle Die Set together with the sweet Big Hug cat stamp

The edge boarders on the card has been diesed using the Scalloped Rectangle Die Set. 

The little cat is from the  Big Hug stamp and die set. I love the way these stamps come with a die to cut them out, it really saves all the fussy cutting.

The sweet heart paper is from the Pretty Perfect paper pad. 

The little bie at the back is from the  Big Hug stamp and die set.. The circle behind has been cut with Fancy circle die set.

The banners have been created with a die from the Fancy Rectangles & Layers die set.
