A summer tag

Today, I am showing you a knitting tag with a summer feeling. The tag is perfect for a little gift bag with knitting yarn or with another little knitted gift.

The yellow papers are from Doodlebug: Happy Hour - Sweet Summer and Catching A Wave - Sweet Summer

The text "Hvem har rett og hvem er vrang - who is right and who is wrong" - is a play on words in Norwegian. Right is the Norwegian word for plain knitting stich, and wrong is also the word for a pearl stich in Norwegian. The text is a stamp from Papirdesign and it's called Strikkegal. The knitting pattern at the bck has been made with a stamp from the same stamp set.

The shape at the top of the tag has been created with a LDRS dies from the set -  Fancy Rectangles & Layers Die Set

To cu the motive itself, I used the LDRS dies ffrom the set - Regal Frame Die Set and Rayher's Spring Wreath dies to create the circle in the background.

Creative with Mathia flowers

Have you tested the Mathia flowers from Hobbykunst? The flowers are so sweet, and you get a lot of flowers for your money. A packet of flowers will only cost you 20 Nkr. They are fantastic on projects where you would like to use flowers, but not spend a lot of money.

These kind of flying cups has been shown around the Internet for some time. The cup and saucer was bought at a second hand store.

The gears has been created with dies from a golden piece of card stock. Two gears has been glued together to make it golden at both sides of the gear.

Spoiler - This is how you create the flying cup:

You will need a cup, saucer, a fork and some metal bits. Use a glue gun or good and strong glue, and glue the end of the handle of the fork to the inside of the mug, and the finger part of the fork to the saucer. Add and glue some metal bits to the side of the saucer, so it won't tip over. When the glue is dry and the project is stable, you may add flowers or other bits to cover the spoon and the metal bits on the saucer.

Build yourself a house

Hobbykunst got new house building sets in to the shop this spring. I had to try one of these sets. I wanted to decorate it simply with patterned paper.

The house is the 3D Puzzle, House with veranda. It is really easy to put together. You can use different kind of glues to put it together. I used Uhu glue .

For the roof, I used the paper Coal - Christmas Edition and for the wall, I used Ivy Wall - Wandering Ivy, both from Kaisercraft. The laves on the roof are from the paper Ivy Wall - Wandering Ivy. IIn between the leaves on the roof, I added a small green wooden frog - can you see it?

The tree is available in different sizes in the shop. The pile of wood has been created with wooden pieces.

I between the leaves, I used Mathia flowers. You can get these roses in a wide range of colours for a really good price.

At the front of the house, I have used a few garden tools in wood.

The small cat, is a toy cat I got from a flee market.

The Wicked Witch boot card

We are getting closer to Halloween, and today, I am showing you some inspiration with some of the new products from LDRS creative.

I have used the new Wicked paper pad for the boot card and the great new Wicked Boot Build-A-Card die set.

I have used black cardstock for the base of the card, and glitter card stock for the diesed decorations on the front.

Inside, I used white card stock, and created a pattern using Winds Are Blowing stamp set.

Pop in to LDRS's shop to see all the new autumn products. They are all amazing.
