Happy Halloween with LDRS Creative

Halloween treat box

Today, I'm showing you a tiny Halloween Trick and Treat box, with tutorial and a template. The boxes are made for small Halloween chocolates (3cm in diameter).

The paper pad used for this box is the Wicked - 6x6 Paper pad. The boarder inside the box, has been created with a die from the Scalloped Rectangle Die Set. The bow has been created with a die from the Happy Days Circle die set. Some of the boxes has also got a flower on the top, created with dies from the Fancy Flowers die set.

The bats on the inside of the lid, and on the outside of the box, together with the spider webs, have been created with dies from the Wicked Boot Build-A-Card die set.

Template and tutorial

Cut out according to the template, in card stock. 

Fold according to the dotted lines.

Glue together the box and the lid.

Add the little holder for the chocolate inside the box, and push it to the bottom of the box.

Now, you can decorate the box.

I created several different boxes, in different patterned paper.

Don't let anyone ever dull your sparkle

Today, I am showing a small canvas created with the new 3D embossing folders from Tim Holtz. I tried Mechanics 3D Texture Fades Embossing Folder. 

The embossed paper has been glued onto a black cardboard paper. I then glued on a few card board gears and metal embellishments. I painted it black, and dry painted with different kind of paints and gesso to get the pattern to show. 

The two ballerinas are from a Tim Holtz die cut set. The flowers has been cut from Prima's Sainte Maxime papers from the St. Tropez collection.

"Ikke la noen bølle med gnisten din/ Don't let anyone ever dull your sparkle", is one of my favourite quotes. This is a stamp from Huldra - Rampestreker.

The small canvas has been added to a small Det lille lerretet er festet på et mini easel from Rayher.

Happy fall

Hello everyone. It's Kirsten here today, showing you a card with the super sweet fox from the Artic Snowfall stamp set.

The papers used are from Holly Jolly Holidays  and Wicked paper pads. 

 To cut around the edge of the motive, and the boarder behind,  I used the Happy Days Circle. The lace behind the motive has been created with Scalloped Rectangle Die Set. Leafs has been created on a glittery foam sheet with a die from Holly Wreath Circle and the nuts is a die from Woodland Foliage Frames.

I have also decorted the back of the card with a fox and a circle die cut from the Fancy Circles Dies set.

Four good things - a Kinder Surprise box

Today, I am showing you a Kinder Surprise box for Hobbykunst.

The box has been created with papers from Papirdesign - Sjokoladeplate and Maja design - Denim Friends.

Between the chocolate paper and the blue papers, I used aluminum foil. The text "You are my favourite person to hang around with" is from Huldra's stamp set - Apestreker.

The monkie and the text "You are monkeying around" is also from Huldra's stamp set Apestreker. Teh text stamp " No one will ever be as entertained by us as us" is from Huldra's stamp set - Venner 1.

The idea for the card came from a photo of one of Tanja's Kinder egg surprise boxes. I made my own version of this. You can find my template below.  Glue part 1A together with part 1B, part 2A with 2B and so on.

A gift bag

It's soon time for Christmas fairs, and here is a small giftbag with a chocolate. Super simple and sweet, gift. 

The gift bag created with Kaisercraft's Winter Wonderland W/Foil - Christmas Jewel.  Inside the box, I have used mirror card from Tim Holtz - Adhesive Backed Mirrored Sheets. The frame has been made with LDRS's Fancy Rectangles & Layers Die Set.

The bag has been created to fit a Freia 70% chocolate bar. The flowers are left overs in lilac. 

An autumn lantern

It's autumn here in Norway, and today I am showing you an autumn lantern. This time I have used the Autumn Breeze dies as a base to create the lantern. 

 The base and the lid on the lantern has been made of card stock and card board.

 All the flowers has been made with different old and new flower dies from LDRS creative. One of the die sets are the Fancy Flowers die set.

 All the flowers are made from the sweet paper pad - Sweet Pea. The flowers has been distressed with the lilac - Grape Ape hybrid ink.

The lid comes of, for little light to be placed inside the lantern.
