Treat bags

Made some sweetbags. I got the text stamps from North Star Stamps - and had to make something with them.

The background paper for the topper is made from using Dylutions spray and Color shine from Heidi Swap. The wheel tracks are made from an old toy car with inked tires. The tractor motive is from Dulemba and coloured with promarkers. The stamp "traktoregg - tractor eggs" is from North Star Stamps

The background paper for this topper is from Panduro. The stamp is"Tilda with hawaiian flower" - coloured with promarkers. The text "englesnop - angel candy" is from  North Star Stamps.

A new quilted handbag and testing promarkers on fabric

I have made another quilted handbag. This is for myself this time, so I decided to go for an Aussie theme. A lot of the fabrics are from Stoff og Stil. The fabric with aboriginal pattern was bought in Sydney.

I have tested stamping and colouring with promarkers on fabric. The stamp is Koala Hug Tilda, and a butterfly stamp. I have drawn the grass and flowers. The flowers are kangaroo paw, desert pea and kattamarant.

The other side of the bag is similar, but a different motive.

Since I do play didg - I could not resist having Didgeridoo Tilda on one of the sides. This is also stamped with fabric ink and coloured with promarkers.

A tips when you colour fabric with promarkers, is to iron the fabric often while you colour. The colour in the markers will often bleed on fabrics, and the heat from the iron prevents the bleeding.

Magnolia Christmas ornament

Kort o Mania has a new challenge for this fortnight.

I have decorated another Christmas ornament. The stamp is Magnolia mini world " Tilda in winter night" - and has een coloured with promarkers. I have also used snowpaint from Panduro - with glitter on the edges oft Tildas jacket and hat. I was asked to make an angel - so I made wings for Tilda. The wings are made from Vellum - punching two large Martha Stewart butterflies. The bench is made in 3D from paper.

The acrylic ball is from Hobbykunst. The background paper is from Pion design "Church - Silent Night". The pine tree is an origami tree. On the ground I have used snowpaint and plastic beads.
