A new quilted handbag and testing promarkers on fabric

I have made another quilted handbag. This is for myself this time, so I decided to go for an Aussie theme. A lot of the fabrics are from Stoff og Stil. The fabric with aboriginal pattern was bought in Sydney.

I have tested stamping and colouring with promarkers on fabric. The stamp is Koala Hug Tilda, and a butterfly stamp. I have drawn the grass and flowers. The flowers are kangaroo paw, desert pea and kattamarant.

The other side of the bag is similar, but a different motive.

Since I do play didg - I could not resist having Didgeridoo Tilda on one of the sides. This is also stamped with fabric ink and coloured with promarkers.

A tips when you colour fabric with promarkers, is to iron the fabric often while you colour. The colour in the markers will often bleed on fabrics, and the heat from the iron prevents the bleeding.
