Mixed media canvas - using trash and Finnabairs Alchemy paints

This is a small canvas, created with trash, a photo, glitter cardstock from Kaisercraft and Finnabairs Art Alchemy paint.

The photo is of my little dog, that I lost this summer. She was ill, so we had to let her go.

The background is a small thin canvas, with a piece of coffee packaging glued to the canvas with liquitex multi medium. The medium is like a decoupage glue, and has been used under the packaging to glue it to the canvas, and over the packaging to seal it.

Then, I have added metal trash and beads, using liquitex heavy gel glue. This is a fantastic glue for mixed media. Then the background was painted black, and dry painted with Finnabairs Art Alchemy paint (Metallique Brass Hardware).

The text is made with a die from Tim Holtz (Tim Holtz Alterations - Thinlits - Friendship Words - Script) with Kaisercraft's glitter cardstock.
