Here's the scoop

Today, I will be showing you another card created for Creativation this spring. This will also be my last blogpost for LDRS creative.

The card has been created with some of the new stamps. released after Creativation. The big ice creams have been created with the Ice Cream Party stamp set, and small ice creams have been created with the Sweet Treats stamp set, stamped with Raven ink.

The back of the card has also been decorated. I used an oval die cut created with the Scalloped Rectangle Die Set and an ice cream lolly.

For the background of the card, I used diecuts created with Scalloped Rectangle Die Set and coloured it with the Dan-D-Lion ink from the Jewelry Beads Hybrid Ink Mini Pack and the Playful Patterns 6x6 stencil.

Creating the ice creams

The Ice creams were stamped with the ice Cream Party stamp set, and s the Sweet Treats stamp set, stamped with Raven ink on paper from the Sweet Sensations 6x6 paper pad.

The ice creams were fussy cut and the the shadows were created and coloured on the paper.

Creating the background:

For the background of the card, I used a diecut created with Scalloped Rectangle Die Set and coloured it with the Dan-D-Lion ink from the Jewelry Beads Hybrid Ink Mini Pack and the Playful Patterns 6x6 stencil.

Happy crafting everyone, and a little good bye from me :)

A minialbum with gift cupons - with tutorial

Today, I am showing you one of my Creativation projects.

Have you ever had anyone you wanted to give a present, but you find it difficult as they have almost everything from before? This album is a perfect gift for those occasions. This is a mini album filled with gift tickets, where you can write what you want to give gift tickets for. A trip with the dog, baby sitting or washing the car?

For this project, I used the super sweet Homemade Happiness - 6x6 Paper pad.
The ice cream and text, has been created with stamps from the stamp set Sweet Treats, and has been fussy cut.

The little decoration hanging from the side of the book, has been created with the new Fringe die.

The stamp at the front and the tickets inside has been created with Sweet treat stamp set.

You may want to fill inn the gift cards before you give away the album.

I have also added a little card as the last page of the album.

I used a die from the Scalloped Rectangle Die Set to create the card at at the last page. The small ice creams are created with the stamp set Sweet Treats.

Tutorial

Find the patterned paper you need. I also created 6 pages of stamped  tickets.

Cut two pieces of thick card board 9 x 15 cm and one piece 9 x 5 cm. This will create the book cover.

Glue the two larger pieces pf card board together with strong tape. The smaller piece between the larger pieces. Make sure there is about 0,5 cm space between the card board pieces. Without this extra space, the paper that covers the book will split and you will struggle with opening the book.

Then, cover the outside of the book cover that you have created, with paper. I used Kraft card stock. Later, I put panels with patterned paper on the outside of the book cover.

Add a small piece of patterned paper to cover the back of the the book cover, where you want the pages to stick to the cover. This patterned paper will show behind pages.
Create a strip of white card stock  7 x 25cm. Score after 2 cm, then every 1cm 21 times.

Fold and glue the strip of card stock to the back of the book. You and up with 2 cm on each side, that you can hide behind patterned paper on the inside of the book cover. There is 1 cm between each page. There are two 1cm folds for each page in the book. One fold on each side of the page, to make sure the pages are safely hinged to the book cover.
I stamped the tickets with the ticket from the Sweet treat stamp set. I used brown ink on Kraft card stock.

So, I hope this inspired you to create a different present.
Wishing you a crafty day :)

You are so Cool card

Today, I am showing you the first of a set of three cards. The cards has been created with some of the brand new stamp and die sets shown at Creativation this year.

I have used stamps from the Ice Cream Party stamp set and this stamp, is a super sweet melted and fallen ice cone.

Tutorial

I  stamped with the Raven ink and Sweet treats stamp set onto paper from the
and Kraft paper.

Then I coloured shadows onto the paper, and cut out all the pieces. The pieces were glued together - paper piecing.

For the background of the card, I used a diecut created with Scalloped Rectangle Die Set and coloured it with the Dan-D-Lion ink from the Jewelry Beads Hybrid Ink Mini Pack and the Playful Patterns 6x6 stencil.

I cut rectangle, 4mm larger than the diecut, and distressed the edges with yellow ink. I added all the pieces together and mounted them on 3D foam tape, to create dimension.

The back of the card was also decorated with an oval created from the  Scalloped Rectangle Die Set and an ice cone.

Hop along and leave a comment so you could win!
