A Valentines card

Christmas and New Year has passed and we are getting closer to one of the other days, where we are often giving cards - Valentines day. Today, I am showing you a valentines card created with the Cloud No. 9 stamp set

The card is a center step card. The size of the card has been made to fit the Eyelet Lace Rectangle Die Set. I have added the template for the card below. The main card has been created from white card stock. Dotted lines are scored lines. Lines are cut lines.

All the panels are made with papers from the Sincerely Yours paper pad. The papers are cut 1/2 cm smaller than the the card stock. To make sure the card can be folded, I didn't cover the scored lines on the card stock with panels.

In the middle of the front step card, I added a die cut created with the Eyelet Lace Rectangle Die Set. I also added a die cut with the largest die from the Scalloped Rectangle Die Set. These dies will fit within each other perfectly.

The image has been stamped with LDRS hyprid ink - Raven and Cloud No. 9 stamp set.  The image has been diecut with a circular die from the Fancy circle die set. I made sure not to cut the cloud. The Love word is an old text die from LDRS - Love

I hope you enjoyed the center step idea for the card. A lot of LDRS's die sets go really well together, like the large die from the Eyelet Lace Rectangle Die Set and the largest die from the Scalloped Rectangle Die Set. So have a go and test it out.
Best wishes from Kirsten

The fox family card

Hello everyone, It's Kirsten here today, showing you a card created with some of the foxes from the super sweet Arctic Snowfall stamp set. I used the Raven hybrid ink for stamping. This is a fantastic ink for water colouring and alcohol markers, and it's now my favourite ink.

The background for the card has been created just with white cardstock and LDRS Creative dies. For the front of the card, I cut out with the Sunburst Rectangle Die Set in white cardstock. I added the die cut to a white card. The foxes was painted with water colours, fussy cut and glued to the front of the card with several layers with 3D foam tape.

The 3D foam tape created dimension to the card.

At the inside of the card, I used a white die cut from the Scalloped Rectangle Die Set to create some space for writing, but still keep the white on white feel for the card.

At the back of the card, I decorated with a white die cut of the oval tag from the Scalloped Rectangle Die Set and tags from the Fancy Rectangles & Layers die set. All the white tags, has been added in layers, mounted with 3D tape. I also added another coloured fox, created with the same stamp from the Arctic Snowfall stamp set with the Raven hybrid ink for stamping.

Wishing you a happy and creative day.

Two year ago, I found this sweet pirate stamp from LDRS. The stamp is called Corsair and it is one of the sweetest pirat stamps I have ever seen. The stamp has been stamped with Archival ink on water colour paper and painted with distress ink with a very thin paint brush.

Magnificent Beauty in every way

Today, I am showing you a shaped card created with the sweet Polkadoodles Tea - riffic image. This is such a sweet image and supersweet collection. The paper used for the card is the Time for Tea Paper pack. I coloured the image with distress ink.

Around the image, I used the flowers an swirl from the Magnolia Splendor stamp set. These has been stamped with distress oxide.

The card has been created with the Allifair Build-A-Card Die Set. I have diecut one sheet of cardstock with the large die in the set and folded the diecut in the middle. Then I added a diecut created with the smaller die, to create the background for the image. This is a simple and different way of creating a shaped card.

I also decided to go wild with some of LDRS creative's dies on this card. I just love the different shapes. The image has been diecut with the Fancy Rectangles & Layers Die Set. The tags in the right, top corner has been created with dies from the same set. The leaves behind the flowers has been created with Grace Build-A-Card Die Set. This leave die is probably one of my most used dies - I just love these leaves. I have also used the Basic Cutting Edge Borders I to create a lace, under the image.

Happy crafting :)
