Top 11 for 2020

 Another year is soon over. It has been a difficult year for a lot of us. If one focus on the positive sides of this year, my husband and I did get married og the set day at the end of may. Even though everything turned out different and the planned honeymoon had to be canceled. We´ve had our struggles, but none in the family got Corona this year.  

This year, I have been a designer for Hobbykunst and written articles for TPC magazine. I have taken a step back from designer work from big brands this year, as the situasjon has been so unpredictable. I have picked out 11 project from this year, to represent 2020.

Project 1

For the first project, I have picked the weddinginvitations. I made about 35 invitations. They are all hand made, designed spesific and cut with a Silhouette. The invitations fold flat, and were sent in a hand made envelope. The motive is Villa Malla, where we were supposed to have the party and be married at the beach. The invitations were sent of, and then the Corona came. Villa Malla was closed, and big partied was not allowed. There is always another beach, so we still got married at the beach, and had the closest family and friends for wedding cake in the garden. These invitations were shared in the TPC magazine.

Project 2

This is a layout I created with one of the wedding photos with Heidi Swapp´s Art Walk kolleksjon.  Text: Everything can be fixed with super glue and Washi tape"

Project 3

This is a Mixed media snow globe with Prima´s Sugar Cookie kolleksjon. The globe was created for Hobbykunst. Good fun to be featured by Prima.

Project 4

This is an explosion box with a small vintage car. For this project, I used different left over papers from Prima. The car is my own design, and a Silhouette file and template I designed years ago. This was published in TPC magazine. 

Project 5

This is a miniablum created with Prima´s  Georgia blues collection. This was created for my own wedding. This was shown in TPC magazine. 

Project 6

This project is a decorated wooden wall clock from Snip Art. decorated in Finnabair style. The wall clock has been published in TPC magazine.

Project 7

This is a minibuss in wood from Rayher, decorated with Prima´s Surf Board kolleksjon. Denne var utrolig morsom å lage og passet perfekt til Surf Board kolleksjonen.

Project 8

This layoput was a challenge, to create something with really old papers from Prima. This paper is from 2006. Prima has, like a lot of other brands, changed a lot since 2006. Although papers from this time, is not my favourite, it is still a good challenge to create something from them. This layout was published for TPC magazine. 

Project 9

This is another project with  Prima´s Sugar Cookie collection. This was a set of gift tags in Prima style. 

Project 10

This was a Christmas gift box, decorated with Maja design´s Traditional Christmas. I just love these small gnomes from this collection.

Project 11

The last project this year is a lsmall gift box with template, that holds two chocolates (smil and melkerull). This was created wjth Reprint´s Lilac Paris collection. The template can be found in the blogg post.

Ny dag og nye muligheter. Vi har vært gjennom en annerledes vår, med mye hjemmekontor og et samfunn som nesten har var stengt ned i hele verden. Dette har påvirket oss. Gladfarger er alltid en fantastisk ting når man trenger litt oppmuntring i en litt tøff tid.

Alle tekster er kuttet med Silhouette. Her er det også brukt masse Washi tape og dies fra LDRS: Fancy rectangles and Layers, som er en av mine favorittdies sett.

Det er også brukt herlige 3D klistremerker fra Rayher, med kaktus,  regnbue og iskrem.

For enkelt helts skyld, er det brukt bokringer (Binding rings) til dette albumet.  Hobbykunst har disse i ulike størrelser.

Wedding album with Reprint's I do collection

It's soon time for the big weeding season in Norway. A fantastic and personal gift for the couple is a home made album, where they can add their own photos. Reprint has got a new collection out -
 "I do", that is perfect for wedding albums. You need two of the packets of the I do collection, or two of each paper. to create an album like this. I have also used silver cardstock and white cardstock.

All the flowers are handmade with Prima collections and Heartfelt dies, stamps and embossing folder. 

The pages in the album

The pages in the album are kept clean and simple. I have used edge dies from Rayher, LDRS -  Waves & Clouds Die Set, and Spellbinders - Spellbinders Die - A2 Scalloped Borders Two. A similar edge dies can also be found from Rayher. All circles has been cut with dies from Fancy circles from LDRS creative. I have also used a pair of edge scissors to create a silver edge around the circles. These scissors are some of my first scrapping stuff, but they are still very much in use.
