Explosion box with a vintage car - published in TPC magazine in Juni 2020

This explosion box was published in TPC magazine in June 2020. It was part of the morning gift for my husband. I had asked him several times, if there was something he really wanted, and he was saying he really wanted a new car. Knowing for well that this was not in my budget. So I decided to give him a car, as well as a gift (not a car). 

For this project, I used Prima´s Zella Teal kolleksjon - Floral Stories. The car has been made with  the paper Midnight Blues from the Prima´s Georgia Blues collection and Lunar Peak from Prima s Moon Child collection. The word "With Love" is from Rayher.  The dragonfly is a die from Heartfelt. Beatutiful Moments text from Tim Holtz. Leaves in silver are made with Prima die cuts. 

The box is 9,5 x 9,5 x 9,5 cm. The lid is about 2,5 cm tall.

The sides of the box has been decorated with small motives and 3D butterflies. The butterflies has been mounted on strips with acetate, to make them fly.

I have placed the vintage car on a little stand in the middle of the box. 

The car is my own design. I created it many years ago, and since then, I have created a Silhouette file with the design, and used it several times.

The text "With love", has been mounted on a wooden stick. 

The little car has got seats, wheels, lights and lots of details.
