Christmas ornament, created with dies.

We are getting closer to Christmas. There is not so much time to create all the Christmas presents we would like to. This ornament is quite quick to make (saying that, everything is relevant). It is created with a plastic fir branch, pinecones, some birds and lots of dies.

The ornament is 12 cm i diameter.

I have also created a small bird house. This bird house has been created using a Rayher's bird house dies. It has been built in 3D using a strip of paper between the two diecuts. It is super easy to make, and requires no Silhouette or other cutting machines connected to computers.

I have also used the poinsettia dies from Rayher to create the flower. I have added glass glitter in the middle to create the flower itself (the read/white of this plant is actually leaves, and the middle is the flower).

I have also used Rayher's snow pen and gesso, in some places to create a snow effect. I have added white glitter in the gesso and snowpen before it dries. This creates a fantastic snow effect.

Simple gift tags with Kaisercraft and tree ribbon 3

This is the last blogpost with a set of simple gifttaps, created with some a tree ribbon.

The papers in the background has been created with the Silver Bells collection from Kaisercraft. This is one of last years collections, but lef over papers, are fantastic to use for tags like these.

The Christmas trees are from a tree ribbon. The snowflakes have benn created with a Martha Stewart Snowflake. The twine/ribbon is from Rayher.

Simple gift tags with Maja design and tree ribbon 2

A lot of us like to create our own gift tags, but we don't really want to put so much work into each one. This is part two of a set of simple gift tags, created with a tree ribbon..

Here, I have used papers from the series "I wish" from Maja design. The background paper has got a layer of gesso, added over a home made stencil. White glitter has been added, while the gesso was wet.

Then I have added a small circle over the tag. This has been punched out of white Bazzill.

I have added two trees over the circle. The trees are from a ribbon with patterned trees on one side and red treas on the other side. The ribbon at the top, has been added with a glue gun.

Simple gift tags with Maja design and tree ribbon 1

A lot of us do like to create the gift tags ourselves, but very often we don't want to put to much work into it. This is blogpost number one of three, with simple gift tags with a tree ribbon.

The background paper is from Maja design. The paper has been distressed at the edges with distress ink.

I have added three different squares (2x4cm) over the background panel. These has also been distressed at the edges. At the end, I have glued the trees from the ribbon over the squares. The trees are red on one side, and patterned on the other side.
