Warm Wishes - a pocket letter

Kaisercraft has a new challenge out in the blog. This time it's a mood board. I have created a pocket letter this time. I don't often create Pocket letter, but they are are great swap. The Pocket letter is something I am sending with the Kaisercraft exchange.

For those of you, who is not familiar with pocket letters - these are created as swaps. The pocket letter is 9 ATC's in a plastic folder, often with added swaps.

This pocket letter has tags, embellishments, a miniature putz / glitter house kit, miniature stencil kit, and a miniature mixed media art, created on a button.

Collage - Art class with Sherry Mendoza

In 2012, I took an art class with Sherry Mendoza. This was my first meeting with dylusions sprays, glimmer mists and gesso. Before the class, I was most comfortable with making 3D projects and vintage cards. The class sent me on new adventures....

This is a collage made for StampARTic. The layout is a sketch from Prima (build a page - March). I really find it difficult to create something in orange and yellow, so this was a challenge. All the small images are ATC size.

Primas build a page for March.

The background paper is dylusions spray on watercolour paper. The edge stamp is from Prima. The letters ART has been painted with crackle paint and Glossy accent. Flowers are from Prima. Stencil on the green background from Tim Holtz.

ATC size piece from the layout. Stamps from Prima. The white  clay bird is made by Gunn-Eirill.

Another ATC piece. Butterfly from G45.

Happy scrapping ;)

ATC - Artist Trading Cards

I have thought about making some ATCs for a long time, so I decided to have a go. Artist Trading Cards are small business cards 2 12 by 3 12 inches (64 mm × 89 mm) with an artistic twist - and they are handmade.

Kort o Mania challenge this time - is to make something with flowers. Therefore I wanted to use flower stamps on one of the ATCs. I also made the decision to make all the backgrounds myself.

I ended up with five different ATCs.

On the first one, I made the background using dylusions sprays and Color Shine. The crone is made from Foam sheets cut with a Tim Holz dies and coloured with MetaMica. The heart is a metal heart with a pearl heart inside it. The text is a handmade stencil, cut with a silhouette.

This background is made using Yes-paste and adding different embossing powders in the paste. Then I used the embossing heat gun to heat it all. After adding the texture, I added some colours using MetaMica and distress paint. The butterfly is from Graphic 45.

The background is made with dylusions spray, handmade stencil, gesso and distress ink. The dandylion stamp is from Panduro. I have also used glass beads and a butterfly from Graphics 45.

The background is made using dylusions spray, distress ink and a handmade stencil (cutting file from silhouette). The black gears are diecuts from black card made with Tim holtz dies. The gold gears are made from with a silhouette machine. I have also used Washi tape from Søstrene Grene.

To make the background, I used dylusions spray. The numbers are made by making my own stencil and adding distress ink over it. The car is made from a Foam sheet, cut with a Tim Holtz dies and covered with Washi tape. The wheels are brads from panduro, and some of the other car parts are parts from an old sewing machine.
