Bottle shaped tag for a baby

This is a bottle shaped tag, created for Hobbykunst, with the sweet Cottage Rose collection from Kaisercraft and the cute rabbit stamp from Little Darlings.

The motive is simply coloured with shades with Promarker and Touch. I have used light gray at the edges of the rabbit, and light pink at on the ears, feet and nose. I have also added a line of light gray around the outside of the rabbit to create some shade. To create some background effect, I have colured the background with dots of skincolour.

Pink and white flowers are from Petaloo.

The back of the tag, has been simly decorated with a panel and a place to write a message.

Sometimes, I get asked "What du you use tags for?". I often use them as cards on presents, and as a decoration on the present itself.

Here, the gift is a little toy rabbit. It is simply wrapped in cellophane, and the tag is used as a decoration.

A set of cards created for Kaisercraft

Mademoiselle collection is one of my favorites this year, as a Kaisercraft designer. Here, I have created a set of five cards from this months sketch. If you would like to enter the challenge, based on the sketch, follow the link to the challenge.

The cards have been made with Kraft as the main card. I have used the P2132 Lady Like paper as background for the cards and quotes from the PP1001 Paper Pad as decoration. The golden sewing hoops are made with a die from DD924 (Die and Stamp Tailor made).

Have you entered Kaisercraft's July challenge? Here is the sketch.

A recipe book

The Bon Appetit collection was a subtle hints for me, as well as the fact that my personal recipe book, that I created 7 years ago, has just fallen apart after heavy use. So - surprise - I created a recipe book. I wanted to keep the recipe book relatively simple, as this is going to be used a lot. I also wanted to use plastic pages for the recipes, to protect the pages as I am baking.

At the back of the recipe book, I have added a little shopping list book. This as been created with a bind it all. The album has a pocket at the back, where the little book slots in.

Kaisercraft Products: Bon Apetitt: P2115 Bake | P2116 Prep | P2118 Kneed | P2119 Fresh | P2120 Coal | P2101 Flored | P2122 Recipe | SS316  Sticker sheet | PP1000 Paper Pad | CS267 Clear stamps | CT859 Collectables | FL557 Flourish Pack Cooking |  IP 719 Small Ink Pad Black | IP728 Small Ink Pad Saffron | IP734 Small Ink Pad Cherry | IP733 Small Ink Pad Vine.'

Kaisercraft's July challenge

We have a new challenge in Kaisercraft's blog. This time it's a Sketch challenge. You can make a card or a layout based on the sketch.

I created a card with the Madmoiselle collection. This is a super sweet collection, filled with sewing machines, dress forms, flowers and butterflies.

I have used sewing thread and a metal scissor behind the tag. The dressform is from the collectables.

The card has been simply decorated inside and at the back.

The first Scandinavian tram in Graphic 45 papers

Hobbykunst is moving to their shop to Ola Hegerbergsgate 8 (Rasta), behind Triaden Storsenter. The opening of the new shop was celebrated today, the 2. of July. To celebrate the opening, I have created a new model for the shop, a small model tram.

This tram is a model of "The blue tram" with a few artistic differences. This tram is made after inspiration from an american tram at Graphic 45's stand at CHA, spring 2016, created by Laura Denison.

The tram has been made with papers from Graphic 45's collection City Scapes.

The first electrical tram we got in Skandinavia was the tram in Oslo (then called Christinaia). The tram was also called "Briskebylinjen" and went from Jernbanetorget over Briskeby and to Majorstuen.

This tram has been built from scratch of cardboard, and decorated with paper before it was put together. The measurements have been made to scale to sort of match the real tram.

Instead of using signs with the text from the actual tram, I have used the text from the papers.

The tram can be seen in Hobbykunst's shop.

Information:

I have not created a template for this tram, as it is created as a "one of" art.
The tram is not for sale, and belongs to Hobbykunst.
