Mixed media is fun to do, and most things can be altered and decorated. Today, I am showing an altered wooden spoon for The Papercrafting.
The spoon has been bought at a second hand shop. Projects like these don't need to be expensive. The wooden spoon has been spray painted white, and decorated with die cuts, flowers and mists.
The project has been done in a Chabby chic style. The birds and feathers are from Prima's Wild and Free collection. The little frames is something I brought with me home from England, some time ago.
The metal pieces has been added to the spoon using Liquitex heavy gel as glue. Then the spoon has been coloured white with Liquitex spray paint. Small frames, birds and feathers has been added to the spoon. The colours has been created with Kaisermists. The mists has been applied with a paint brush.
